Faire Days

My renaissance faire has ended for the season on a cold, and snowy day.
This is a bitter sweet ending.
The excitement of faire is over, leaving me with the clean up.
My faire friends have packed up to go their separate ways.
Leaving an empty field where a small community once was.
My faire friends are now on their way home both far and close.
My thoughts and memories of my faire friends to keep me warm till the next season begins.
Which feels like forever now.
But a new season will be here before I know it.
So I slumber threw dreaming of what has pasted and what is still to come. |
